Day Out With The Couzzies.

met Jac, Alice & Wennie for lunch @ geylang, after lunch we went to buy mooncakes for mid-autumn festival (personally i like to term it as lantern festival, haha) guess wat? we bot 18 boxes of traditional teochew mooncakes & the likes which amounted to about 250 bucks!! haha. this festival also quite ex ah? lucky i dun fancy mooncakes much.

we then trooped to E-Hub @ downtown east cos we din have anywhere else in mind to go, there was nth much over there too altho that place brot back some memories. hmmm.... had a drink @ kopi alley there before going over to changi village. why changi village? haha

Jac mentioned wanting to check out the Changi Village Hotel, seems quite a relaxing, laidback place. i guess the overall changi village shops etc contributed to that whole hweeling too. we actually managed to spend abt 90 bucks buying dinner, dessert & some dresses n skirts. haha. who'd have anticipated spending such a sum over at CV, certainly not us. LOL

for makan we had nasi lemak, nasi briyani. the nasi lemak was quite yummeh but the dessert was the one which stole the show. ZOMG!!! we bot a small choc cake for dessert. it was an unexpected good find. the cake shop's name is Chocolate Origin. 28 bucks for a small whole cake, worth every cent! *thumbs n big toes up!*

the choc cake!! looks nondescript but i tell u its damn scrumptious!!

the simple cake box but i think it looks quite cool :)
