So wassup?

Time really doesnt wait for anyone. To think that I've already completed my 1st trimester under Curtin. My gosh, this is quite an accomplishment for someone of my demeanour. It's supposed to be AML the slacker, rem? Well, the truth is, I still kinda slack but am now able to yank myself from my own attention deficit state. It's been a trying 3 months for me ever since the sch term started but its an experience that I'll definitely remember. Took 2 units this time & will be taking another 2 units for the next trimester, which is a shorter one as compared to the other 2 trimesters. So I guess, my pace of life will be challenged again as I try to balance work & studies, in a shorter span of time for the upcoming sch term. CNY will have to be sacrificed as my next trimester's exams will begin rite after the CNY hols. Results for my 1st trimester will be released in mid Dec, so I'll be here then, either lamenting abt how I shld have gunned up more for my studies or gleefully basking in my satisfactory results. Till then, lets all continue with our mugs of Milo & Horlicks.

Excerpts from the office

My colleague was heard lamenting that she has 2 sons instead of the only biological son of hers. Her husband is her 1st son. Haha!

Lunch is almost an event by itself, we're that close to organising lunch the way we organise our conferences, which are also our "ricebowls". My colleague and I like to joke about video-shooting the lunch choices whenever one has to help the other get lunch. The ironic part, both of us are still using 2G mobiles.

The ladies' restroom in the office is our version of a warzone. We even get regular updates on the hygiene state of the toilet, courtesy of those who return fr the warzone, complaining about a certain cubicle that everyone has to avoid, by all means.

We get free hotel food whenever there are leftovers from the conferences. Its a great way to save on lunch money. Hehe.
