How To Avoid The Binge!

Just read thru an article on how I may be able to curb my binge habit. hmm.... well no harm to try it out I guess. haha. the article lists a few food stuff that can be consumed to keep you full for a longer period of time. Listed are the ones that I can try:

1. Apples
2. Beans
3. Eggs
4. Fatty fish (like mackerel, salmon & tuna)
5. Nuts
6. Plain popcorn (unsalted, unsweetened)
7. Baked potatoes (with fish or chicken)
8. Green tea

Seems quite feasible rite? haha. i will try it out 1st n see if it works. LOL

been missing for the past week n more huh? quite abit of stuff cropped up. my uncle passed away last Tues (12/10), he wasnt very close to us but we're close to his daughter & being direct family, mom said we have to go down to the wake to show "support". so ya i was pretty much stuck @ Sengkang for the wake for 3 nites. the cremation was on Saturday & we had to walk the funeral procession thingy. been such a long time since we last did that, almost 20 over years ago was the previous time we participated in such a walk i think. the sun was unrelenting on us when we were walking the few 100 metres. zzzzz.

i guess it doesnt help that on the 2nd nite of the wake i was suffering from fever. empress said its cos i was taking too much of those pre-made frozen snacks that i used the new oven toaster to prepare. haha. i think its more like i somehow caught a semi-cold when i tried to hastily work out b4 meeting cousin Wennie that same morning. serves me rite for getting a fever then. hahahahaha :x

the weather for these few days quite bad ah? with the haze & all.... the temp was quite high ytd, my eczema wreaked havoc on me baaaaad. its quite a joke when i came across the article heading "Air quality in Sg dips slightly". like WTH??? i woke up just now n cld have sworn that i can smell smoke in the air when i opened the windows. u call this slight???

Lazy me.

yup, I got lazy & did not blog for the past few days. haha. let see.... I met Jacko for lunch on Tues after my FOS entry. we had Ajisen ramen, been some time since I last had it. find that it's still alright for the pricing, of cos if u are to compare it with ramen from somewhere like Tampopo, Aji will lose out but for the same pricing, u can get more stuff @ Aji. we ordered 2 set meals which comes with the ramen, a side dish & a drink. Jac got the usual Volcano ramen while I had the Volcano Gong Bao Chicken one. quite yums for me. haha spiiiiicy~

from the ramen pic, my Volcano Gongbao doesnt seem as fiery as Jac's Original Volcano rite? But it sure does pack quite a punch, my ramen that is, according to Jac who tried the soup. haha. after lunch, we went to FEP to just window-shop but ended up buying tees. ya both of us got tees, I got 2 (-.-) so much for trying to save up. lol. I also got a new eyeliner from the skin food & Jac bot me my belated bday pressie of Anna Sui's Secret Wish, 1 of my favourite scents :) I like it cos the scent is pleasant & light.

on Fri, which also happened to be 1st Oct Children's Day, I went for the musical Voyage de la Vie. Managed to get Limey to go along with me (sankiews), been almost 2 yrs since we last met? haha. I hope his surgery will go fine & will recover soon. the show was surprisingly good, the music accompaniment was quite solid too (or at least thats wat i think, maybe Limey thot otherwise) overall, the stage was almost always busy & there was hardly any time for u to get bored watching the show. good experience to have watched it at Festive Grand in RWS too. hehe. din take any pix when we were over @ sentosa though... should have huh? abit wasted. LOL.
